①Fish: A traditional Okinawan fish pattern, signifying prosperity and happiness.
②Whale: A contemporary whale design to match the contemporary Okinawan pastime, whale watching.
③Shell Ginger: The center of the plant, known as sannin in Okinawa, has long been a crucial part of people's lives. It’s used as a medicinal herb, to ward off evil spirits, and to wrap rice cakes and jushi (Okinawan style seasoned rice).
