Many Japanese people feel the Japanese spirit of "Tatami". Its fragrance and texture give us a sense of calmness and warmth.
However, today, opportunities to touch tatami are decreasing. I want tatami to become more familiar. With this in mind, we made small tatami coasters. You can use them at home or at a restaurant, under a glass of beer at the end of the workday, underneath a cutlass glass with sake, or on the table at family gatherings during Obon and New Year's.
