- You can drink it cold in summer and hot in winter to help your body to adapt to the weather.
- In Okinawa, it is also popular for mixing with shochu and awamori.
As a dressing:
- Mix 2 tablespoons of shikuwasa, 2 tablespoons of salad oil, ½ teaspoon of sugar, ½ teaspoon of salt, and a pinch of black pepper to serve as a dressing.
- Use as a lemon /ponzu substitute with sashimi, salads, grilled fish, vinegared dishes, hot pot dishes.. to give them a completely different flavor.
- Mix 2 tablespoons of shikuwasa, 2 tablespoons of salad oil, ½ teaspoon of sugar, ½ teaspoon of salt, and a pinch of black pepper to serve as a dressing.

About Us
The Voyapon website has existed since 2015, when our founders envisioned the idea of bringing "off-the-beaten-path" Japan to the English, French, Spanish, and German-speaking world. Since then, our writers have created more than 3,000 articles shedding light on parts of Japan few overseas visitors have ever had a chance to visit. We would like to believe that our hard work has helped connect the lesser-traveled parts of Japan with the rest of the world.
