This is a sake cup made from 100% tin. In Japan, it is said that tin removes the bitterness of Japanese sake and makes its taste milder.
Each piece is handmade, hand casted and hand finished by techniques passed down over 400 years.
For tin’s high thermal conductivity, the cup itself will become hot, so it is recommended only for cold or lukewarm sake.
