This is a sake cup made from 100% tin with gorgeous gold leaf on the inside.
Each piece is handmade, hand casted and hand finished by techniques passed down over 400 years and then the gold leaf was applied layer by layer by skilled craftsmen in Kanazawa Prefecture.
For tin’s high thermal conductivity, the cup itself will become hot, so it is recommended only for cold or lukewarm sake.
This luxuriously finished work of art is recommended for special occasions and gifts.
