A traditional Okinawan musical instrument: the Sanshin. Machida Muneo and his workshop Machidaya are famous for their efforts in reproducing the famous instrument of the Ryukyu Dynasty, that almost disappeared in the modern times. They have also developed the Sanlele, a fusion of Sanshin and Ukulele, and are spreading Okinawan culture to the world.
